Information & Consultation (ICE)What is ICE?In April 2005 the Information and Consultation of Employees (ICE) Regulations came into force. This law implements European Directive 2002/14/EC and sets a standard for informing and consulting employees.This is the first time in the UK that law regulates an organisation’s on-going information and consultation arrangements. An organisation must set up statutory consultation arrangements if it receives a request from 10% of its employees. But it doesn't need to be terrifying.........
